The St. Mary of Assumption Cathedral is the bury place of the two wives of the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II who built just outside the city the famous World Heritage castle called Castel del Monte. The cathedral dates back to the Normans age but the portico was added afterwards. It features a remarkable rose window and a campanile surmounted by a steeple.

The town hall has an impressive side staircase leading to the main entrance which is constituted by a three round arches portico decorated with Ionic pillars flanking each arch. A dial clock is in the centre top.
Palazzo Ceci

It was built in the 19th century by Oberty. It is divided into three floors featuring classic windows topped by tympana. Only the central windows, set in line with the portal, have a baluster. The building is decorated with two different patterns: the central block is covered with stuccoes while the lateral wings are rusticated.
