The Ziro's Tower
Foto Scala: The Ziro's Tower
The beautiful and monumental Tower of Ziro belonged to the Scala's Castle, nowadays destroyed. Certified in 1151's documents as St. Felice Tower, it still keeps its cylindrical shape and some merlon's rests. It was modified probably in 15th Century to be used for new military purposes. It is a town symbol and a memory of the glorious past of Scala.
